Spidak Sevane is partnering with the Kapan Festival, which takes place in Syunik—a border region under threat since the 2020 war—to establish a violin-making workshop in Yerevan starting in 2026. The goal of this workshop is to train young Armenians in the art of violin and bow making, as well as in the restoration of string instruments. The long-term objective is to enable local production of string instruments, giving young musicians greater independence and fostering a sustainable future for musical craftsmanship in Armenia.
